Meet Ronnisha, our new intern!

Ronnisha Walton is a graduate of Somerville High School and was a member of the Somerville High School History Club under the leadership of teacher, Adda Santos. Ronnisha will be our liaison with the High School History club helping to coordinate student participation in our docent training program and spring public art project, “Let Freedom Ring.” Ronnisha will also be doing history research in connection with our History on the Line exhibition, collections and programs.

And now a few words from Ronnisha…

“My name is Ronnisha, I'm from Somerville,MA and currently an undergraduate History major at Dean College. I enjoy reading, knitting, writing and walking. I wanted to be an intern at the Somerville Museum because I wanted to familiarize myself with the history of Somerville and get more in touch with the community here. I also want to gain more experience with history in general and to potentially work in archives post college. I'm excited to start interning at the museum and explore many opportunities here!”
